Final

For my final project, I have decided to do an advertising campaign/review of the new charity song “Stuck With U” by Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber. The song was released on Friday, May 8 and all net proceeds are going to First Responders Children’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization that will provide the necessary resources to help the children of first responders survive and thrive. As a result of COVID-19, a professional music video could not be shot therefore it is a homemade video featuring appearances by Bieber, Grande, some of their friends and family, and their fans dancing. I chose to advertise this song because I am a fan of both artists and the song also has good incentives. It is providing positivity during a dark time and is also helping raise awareness to the organization. Because of my limited resources/technology issues, I will be incorporating Photoshop, WordPress, and online games. They are the skills I feel that I can best represent and can do in a timely manner. For Photoshop, I plan on doing a collage promoting the song that will include photos of Bieber and Grande over the years as well as images of first responders. This will help draw people in as they will see two of the world’s biggest musicians coming together for a collaboration, and will also show the heroes of the fight in this pandemic. For the WordPress section, I plan on creating a blog post with my review of the song and incorporate different elements of WordPress. I will also look at the editing as the music video was homemade, and although it was done by a professional videographer who has worked with Scooter Braun Project for years. Such elements will include a link to the music video of the song and photos of Bieber and Grande. For the online game portion, I will be doing an interactive blog post that has links to other critiques and YouTube reactions of the song. This will allow me to show that I can properly hyperlink other resources. This will also help strengthen my WordPress blog post reviewing the song as it will show more in depth details about the reactions to it. It will also allow for viewers to have fun watching the YouTube videos. The overall goal of this final project is to advertise “Stuck With U” to the best of my abilities with the limited resources I have. I hope that this final project will interest people into either listening and buying the song or watching the music video to see how it can be professionally edited. Either way, it benefits both myself and the song in the end as another stream/net proceed is provided and the skills I have learned over the course of the semester are shown.
