This project really made miss Marist and all of the resources it had. It was very difficult to do thanks to my outdated technology. My first attempt was to make a TikTok talking about concerts. However, this proved to be unsuccessful as my iPhone 6s was too old and could not handle the capabilities need to upload videos to TikTok to be edited. I then decided to try Adobe Premiere on my laptop as I had several videos saved on there. However, my laptop crashed as it was too slow and old to handle this kind of platform. My final option was to try my sister’s laptop where I used iMovie. I was able to get some videos and photos I had saved, so I decided to be simple and just do a storytime telling my adventures seeing Taylor Swift. iMovie made it very simple enough to do one, with their voiceover and transitions ease. Because I was using my sister’s laptop and did not want to use up all her storage, I tried to keep it to under two minutes. However, I then ran into problems again when I tried to upload the footage. My sister’s software was too old to download the file onto YouTube or to download the file onto her laptop. Her bluetooth was also giving me issues to airdrop the footage to my iPhone. So, I decided to just record the video on my phone and upload to YouTube there. I wish the experience editing could have been better if it were not for the many technological problems I endured.
